Echo Occasion w Herzel

On Saturday August 10th we are preparing a special night in Publika where we are treating you with a diverse selection of electronic subgenres - from electro and house to groovy and industrial techno rhythms, we’ve got you covered! For our first edition of Echo Occasion we’ve invited a special guest, coming from Macedonia - Herzel, who will take us on an a sonic journey of infectious sounds in the vibrant atmosphere of our relaxed outdoor setting. He will be joined on the terrace by the talented Mono, who will treat us with some excellent house rhythms. Aleksandar Grozdanovski who is better known by his alias Herzel is present on the international electronic music scene for more than 10 years. His music style is best described as an entanglement of many genres, from post punk, synthwave, ebm, industrial, indie electronic, as his early influences, to house and techno. Nowadays, Aleksandar mostly explores the nuances between techno and house. His first two releases that gave him international recognition were “No More Lies” EP released on Other Heights and “The Action Of Staying” EP released on Dubwax in 2012. His first solo vinyl release “Shades” EP with Palms Trax remixes on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs came out in February 2015. At the peak of his live acts were his appearances at Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Electronic Beats Festival in Skopje and Love International Festival in Croatia. Besides constantly playing at renewed underground clubs and parties around the globe, Aleksandar is a regular at Berlin’s most infamous clubs such as: Tresor, Griessmuehle, Sisyphos, About Blank, Ipse & Salon Zur Wilde Renate. Inside the club we are continuing our Echo Occasion voyage with refined hypnotic, driving and groovy frequencies delivered by Knauf co-founder RSN, Anubis resident Rope and Mr. Problematic, who will close the night with heavier industrial rhythms.
